8 days of colourful and truly magical festivities - Penzance at its best!
The feast of St John the Baptist - one of Cornwalls greatest annual arts festivals, with Celtic tradtions of 'Penglaz' and the serpent dance with an 8 day programme of diverse festivities, entertainment and music.
Street acts, films, walks, Fireworks, market stalls, lectures and creative workshops all culminating in the colourful parades of 'Mazey Day' on Sat 29th June and concluding on the harbour front on Sun 29th June.
Mousehole Sea, Salts & Sails Festival : Mousehole - 9th - 11th July
Traditional Sailing crafts bob in the harbour while pot making, rope splicing and cookery surrounds the Quay.
Lafrowda Festival & Lafrowda Day : St Just - 2nd - 17th July
8 days of colourful celebrations of the arts community.

RNAS Culdrose- Air Day: Helston - 28th July
A spectacular air craft display both on ground and in air are to be enjoyed at the air day. Plenty of childrens entertainment, family fun and awe inspiring stuff!!. A very popular day out for both locals and visitors from miles around.
Moueshole Carnival: Mousehole - TBC August
Newlyn Fish Festival: Newlyn - 23rd August
100's of people flock to Newlyn to sample the colourful array of fresh locally caught fish, tasters, stalls, food stalls, local arts & crafts, childrens entertainment, live music, Penlee lifeboat display - this list goes on. All surrounding the harbour quays.
Mousehole / Newlyn Christmas lights display 12th December onwards
Experience the festive cheer of the famous Mousehole and Newlyn Christmas lights. Receiving literally 1000's of visitors from miles around to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy in the delight of the wonderful and creative array of lights displayed in and around the harbours and villages of Mousehole and Newlyn. The switch on of the lights is normally followed by a moving performance by Mousehole male voice choir. The lights are switched off for one hour on 19th December in a mark of respect to the heroic lifeboat men who tragically and very sadly lost their lives in the Penlee lifeboat Disaster on the 19th December 1981.
